well its time for a new engine..... i BLEW a hole in the box.... coming back from campin n decided to pass 7 cars at once .... theres goes my connecting rod... blew a hole size hole in the block

anyways ... my dads buddy owns a engine shop in toronto n quoted me 2500 for a rebuilt engine n labour im sure its gona be cheaper then that...

but i was wonderin if anyone got theirs rebuilt n how much it cost them ?

or if anyone knows a scrap yard that has a 2.4L in and roughly how much they go for?

Let me know if youir dads frend can find a 92-93 w 41, and how much for it not rebuilt just witout and cracks, or any major dmaage

You can't rebuild an engine with a hole in the block.

when I spun a bearing last summer, I paid 1400 for an engine with 67xxx on it, 400 for labor through a friend at my works shop...

dude you should get a HO or W41 2.3L to replace it! add a few more ponies whi9lke the opportunity is there!

and I'm not jsut saying that because I ahve a 2.3L HO from a 90 for sale for $450 obo
