hello i was wondering if anyone is using aftermarket axles on their ride and where they got them from and also what are the axles rated for (HP), im not to sure where to get axles from, i know driveshaft shop but is their anything else

What kind of power do they need to hold? DSS are great, but big $$. If you don't have huge power, grab some locally that carry a lifetime warranty, they should hold up fine for everyone but the most aggressive drivers with some serious power. I only went through 1 CV joint in 6 years, and replaced with an OEM replacement with lifetime warranty.

one axle broke doing a burn out, got wheel hop once and then she broke, the other time was racing in second gear on the gas, that axle broke at the cv joint and the shaft shattered

wheel hop will break axles.
there are guys on here netting 400whp with stock axles and have never broken them.
Generally it seems to me that any axles that have shattered (other then at the CV joints) were factory defects.
I would invest in a good lifetime warranty set of axles instead from Part Source or something of the like.
Much easier to deal with when/if you break them, as compared to breaking DSS axles and being out 2 months while they fix or replace them down in the states.

I'm working shift work again at my new job, so I'm not quite sure which days I'm off.
I did my taxes, and it looks like my return is going to be much less than I thought it was... so it looks like no struts yet for me.
