Paid $800 for it when I bought it brand new. It still works like new. Has a slot for an SD card to take still images as well.
Need it gone ASAP! Need the $ to pay bills as my hours just got cut.

$100 bucks thats it thats all get it outta my hair. lol

is it digital, like for the videos and pictures you plug it in via USB to upload to the computer?

'Minidv' the video is tapes. The still images are digital via 'sd card'. Usb transfers the photos. Firewire cable transfers the video to your pc to make it digital. Which I have done more than once for a few videos of family events.

If it failed why do they still manufacture things that require it. Its faster than usb for video transfer.

Anyways let's keep this on topic. If ur not interested please don't waste the space.

Yea no. I had to buy the firewire card when I bought the camera, the difference is when I bought the camera I spent a lot more than $100 for this. $100 is the price. And yes it comes with the firewire cable. I can price out a firewire card to go with it if you want as my father owns a computer parts business.

^^^ Werd ... pay the 100. I got one too paid $700 (got a "deal" through my sister's work at the time). Great vid camera as mini DV still rules over mini dvd for quality in the industry.

firewire is great
it only gets used now for digital tape cause it has the speed to be able to keep up with it and transfer the data properly

i was upset that my hard drive cam didnt come with it
and if i didnt just buy mine hd camcorder i would have bought this off you the day it came up
