Colour matching re-painted car (Toronto Area)
Sunday, October 18, 2009 9:25 PM
i need to paint a part of my car, but i found out that my car was in a accident and it was re-painted, the paint the used is a bit different than the original, i could tell in the door and trunk area, is there a place in or around toronto that can mix my colour for me? since my original colour code in the trunk is now useless.

Your car's original paint won't be the same colour as when it was new. Due to the sun and wear. A custom colour match would be required.

Depending on the condition of the paint, you'll likely need to paint the entire car to get it just right.

its not sun faded, the entire car was painted a couple of years ago and the painter didnt even try to match the original colour, i think he just used the first white paint he came across. you can tell in the door area that its a few shade more on the ivory side than the original. it doesnt have to be perfect, i know there will be a difference, just want to get it as close as possible.
