With that being said. The JCO is at a crossroads right now. The forums will be re-opened within a week and it will be taking an exciting new direction. For the people with nothing but negative comments about JCO, please dont bother posting and ask for your account to be deleted.

my issues with the JCO aren't about the club itself it was a personal issue with corby and the way he has run it. he complains about attendance of bashes and other issues but when someone (other then and exec) mentions the possiblity why he gets all pissy and send of PM to that person or makes a comment in another thread. senior member have been around long enough to see things change for the good and bad and he doesn't care what anyone has to say

1 of the reasons greg isn't incharge of the West and passed it on to tiny then had tiny run it to the ground. all this time its been corbys lack of leadership and i look forward to seeing how JCO changes

That is my issue debate it all you want but we have tried to help him out and he doesn't care.

JBO since July 30, 2001

WTF guys!?! Why are we beating a dead horse here?

Corby stepped down, why do you all persist to continue dragging his name through the mud? Let it be and focus your energy towards rebuilding / improving the club!

I don’t know Corby at all. But how many paid members on the JCO? Maybe 30?? Heck lets double that and say 60. At $20/each for membership, that is $1200.00 and people claim he put that on his Cobalt? WTF are you going to buy for a car with $1200?? The site bandwidth/ admin etc would take a good chunk of that. Buy one JCO banner some decals and the rest is gone. It's not like there are several thousand dollars missing here... Besides, if he logged every hour he spent working for the JCO at McDonalds flipping burgers, he would of made way more than $1200! So obviously he isn’t in it for the money!

Anyways, let’s move on, the guy has been through enough.

does anyone remember old JCO? not the old Forums but old JCO where there wasn't thread about how nobody appreciated anything and people didn't get put in 'time-out' and posts didn't get randomly deleted because of the JCO Kim Jong Il like censorship when everyone argues with each other and it was like water off a ducks back. those were the good ol' days. granted there is negativity but the has always been negativity in the past it wasn't taken personally. JCO has got all uptight of late, if someone posts something that is an atrocity everybody jumps down their throat and post get's deleted and they get warned. Back in the day people got cut down all the time but the club still thrived. Now everyone is all menstral. The point of this post is to say, it's not like the hatorade has only just started flowing its just it's being handed as well. I polarize people when it comes to my personality. Some people do not like me and may try to cut me down but i couldn't give a fcuk. If thy don't like me I'm not likely to like them so there's no loss. I worked as a car insurance adjuster. That's 40 hours of working your nuts of and not getting and thanks but just 40 hours of abuse a week so I know all about being in a thankless position but even so being JCO pres means about 50% of people are saying you did a @!#$ job while the other 50% say the opposite. So yeah it could have been handled better. If anyone reads thi and an insult they are dumb. BTW that last line IS an insult to anyone that thinks that.

^ It'll never be the old JCO, times have evolved. It's unfortunate and agree it does suck when you look back and say hey this used to just fly and now it's like holy sh!t they better get in sh!t for sayin that etc. I find as time passed and ppl evolved since the era I was born in things are far more censored and far less fun anymore even cartoons/tv shows/movies etc. If you look at things from your perspective when you were young, and then find someone 10 years younger than you in the same hobby and place you are, society corrupted their level of humor/attitude completely different from yours and not in a good way.

It sucks I miss the old days/ways..

JCO didn't evolve. Change, yes, but not evolve. Evolution is a process whereby something adapts to it's environment in order to become stronger. The opposite is true of JCO. If anything it regressed.
