Any good mechanic recommendations in S. FL?
Saturday, May 21, 2005 7:04 AM
Alright, the time is getting near to do major maintenance on my 98 2.2L Cav. Amongst many things, I need to do a timing chain change. I was wondering if anyone knew of a mechanic experienced with these engines that they can recommend. I live in Miami, FL near the Kendall area. I don't want to take it just anywhere and get ripped off. Please help.

What's so funny? I asked a simple question man. If you don't have any thing constructive to say than don't.

Dj Clueless, I saw that Eco turbo set up yesterday, its just sic man. I'll probably get the numbers a little off but , he ran like a 13.2 @ 113 MPH. i think it was. all you can do is ask him, hes a good guy.

How am I supposed to know DJ Clueless Ruiz is an actual member? Especially when you put "lol" after it? I took it as an insult. I thought you were referring to me. You could of easily said "look up.." or "check this guy by the screen name of..." I am new to this forum so I don't konw any members. If he or any shop near me can help then let me know.

Anyone else takes their car to a shop down here???

Well then dont jump to conclusions if you're new. "If you don't have anything constructive to say then don't" right?

Anyway, its ok that you're new, welcome, and don't say you dont have any friends on the forum, cuz now i'm your friend!

Thanks Carlos F.!
I need to do a timing chain change, fix a leak, replace all belts, etc. The usual 120K mile maintenance. Little far but I'll give him a call. Thanks for the reply.
