No, you can go out in a stock car........
There's a couple releases you have to sign.......
And track rental.....well lets not discuss this price. All I can say is we better wait for a chance to get a good 50+ cars down haha! VA J's, Reliegh J's, TN J's, FL J's, GA J's, and Alabama J's all together should be a good number.
All I'm saying is its not cheap......the more the better! I can get actual figures but last time I went out I forked over $120 and there was a ton of cars. Car and driver rented it out for well over 5k one weekend. List goes on but I can find actual info! I'm sure I can get the price down but there will be a good number of cars and i'll more than likely be posting this on a couple other forums to get the job done.

Ghey I know but that's life! Hell I think the track would still be fun as all hell even in the rain (not pouring or sprinkles) just a wet track. Even on their site it says
No refunds: Race rain or Shine (so hot) haha!
If there's any interest in this (which I know there is) everyone let me know. To possibly stay on the cheaper side we could all possibly sign up for a SCCA race and all do that together. That only costs $45 or so I think.....Not sure.

I know all the autocross guys would LOVE to come out for that. Also we could stratigically plan it so that there's also a test and tune at commerce dragway which is maybe? 20-30miles past braselton? and we can have a group doing that also. Hell all I know is that it sucks that people on JBO do so much to their suspension but never have a true way to test it out. And the supercharged guys would have a blast around the track with all the availible power.......this is a good idea clearly!

Should we bring this to the attention of the guy who organized the J-bash originally? I think its crap how GM completely turned that into an entire GM small car thing.
But to tell the truth if GM could come in and sponsor this even I'm all down for it. My entire family works for GM and this wouldn't be a bad time to flex their connections. Possibly bring the sema cars out and also some test Cobalt SS's to get a test ride around the track.

As someone mentioned road atlanta is expensive and you take a lot of people to show up. If JBO meet history has taut us anything. Twenty will say they will come, but in the end it will only be 5 people that will actually show up.

lol yes, like the 2 people that showed up ay my house for the last meet... except for the normal 15 of us that always together anyway...
we could always try again to meet at the lake thats up here... the day use area or something- there is a big parking lot that we can get into- and you dont have to pay to get into the lot like the other spots on the lake

Yea we have two rental houses in that area! And 5-7yrs ago that area was pretty good! Sucks what a bunch of black people will do haha!
But just because of the past and how the GA area alone works with 1/4 of the people actually showing this would be a pay first show up later type of event! And I'd think it would be a good idea to possibly contact the guy that did the J-bash and see if we can make this a bigger event.
