ECU HELP!!

How should i look for a matching ECU for my car? I went to the junkyard and got one and try it on my car but wont start.

did the anti theft come on? not entirely sure but i think you gotta let it sit for 15 minutes with the key in the on position. correct me if im wrong.

It will never start if you dont do a relearn.3 10 minute cycles.

duh me!! I totally had a brain fart on that one i was looking for the vin to almost match, i had done the realarm before but this time that one didnt even cross my mind so thank u guys duh, btw i do have the right one according to the vin # so i was like damm it should it worked but totally forgot the part of the theft system.

THe vin has nothing to do with it working any ecotec ecu will start car.

Ahh see, i knew it was something simple, that whole Vin thing had me confuzed! Glad you got this figured out tho!!
