Well, Im back again. Just picked up a 1997 Sunfire GT. I hadnt needed a car for awhile since I had a company car. But they want their car back so I had to get another car. I figured since I had one before Id get another one. I more than likely wont be doing anything to this car since I have a project Rx7 that Im building, but you never know

Yeah i got rid of the silver cavalier about 6 months ago. Last month I picked up an Rx7 which is my project. This sunfire will mainly be for daily use and like i said i dont plan on doing much to it. I may do the normal bolt ons (intake, exhaust) but nothing extreme. i do certainly miss my first sunfire.

Just for Evan...

I guess I should mention again its a project. Its a 1988 Rx7, 5speed, and as you can tell multiple different colors. It does run(not very well) and drive(horribly) but it needs a lot of work. I picked it up for $500. I bought it from a lady who said it sat for about 2 years. Surprised me when, after only changing the fuel pump, it fired right up. My plan for the Rx7 is to get it to good condition then start modding. It will eventually get boost but my main concern is getting it running right then moving on from there

my buddy had a an 89 sitting in the hot florida sun for about 9 years, his younger sister grew up and through a battery in there and it fired right up. Seized brakes were the worst issue, everything else comes from an aging car, hoses rotting, spider eggs all over you engine bay, you know, the norm..LOL

^^^no lie. im glad the motor wasnt seized. but yes, i have had some issues. i do have an electrical "bug". randomly wont have power and the battery is fine. probably has something to do with the fact that the previous owner had remote start and an alarm. i removed all the wires for that stuff but having some issues. i have replaced the clutch master cylinder and brake master cylinder. i have a new clutch kit on the way. also new injectors and new plugs. i imagine it will be a slow process but im in no hurry. i seriously just want to take my time with it and get it right the first time.

Man if only that was a white sunfire... I'd pay you to swap front ends lol

Looking forward to seeing this become your D.D.
I'm sure after you get a few bolt on's you will decide to do a few more mods.
Maybe at least some rims?
