wife got off 3rd shift and sun blinded her so she hit a light pole. yay... not.
was going about 15mph.. so hopefully no frame damage.
Right side; Bumper is gone, corner light is gone, side skirt is gone(AHHHHH), fender is gone.
Door is damaged where it hit the fender(or did fender hit door? LOL)
Airbags deployed so passenger side windshield is busted.
Luckily I didn't have the rim on the front end when it happen, got bent yesterday had a spare steeling on it.
Ball joint was sheered off of control arm, guy who hauled it on the rollback managed to rip apart the axle(fixable I think).
Sub-frame looks fine, motor/oilpan looks fine, gotta get a closer look when I get it raised up and wheel removed.
Luckily I know where a white fender is for $30, will be getting a BC2 front bumper in the next few months, was planning on switching to LSS side skirts... so.. as long as I can get it back on the road and there isn't any structural damage I think we will be ok....

not sure on the condition of the axle, It was in one piece at the accident site, now at the yard its apart.
I'm thinking it'll go back together(did before in the Cavfire).
I'm looking for a set of amber corner/bumper lights.
And possibly a 95-99 Z24 front.
Axles are fairly cheap, I just bought some cardone from summit racing and it was right around $100 shipped for both. That door looks hurt but the rest looks easily replaceable.
It is actually not too bad. I would pull that fender to see if anything behind it got damaged. Don't you pull the plug on it. It will live again!

Well I'm kinda excited.. a free Sunfire might of fallen into my lap.
Girl e-mailed me saying she had a 99' Sunfire SE thats been sitting on her yard for 10 years.
$200 I can have it, doesn't have a title, blown head gasket but perfect body shape.

Said she would file for a lost title as long as I pay the lost title fee.
Well I'm gonna use the front clip, skirts(for now) and most likely pull what usable parts I can and then send the car to the scrap yard to cover the cost.
Anybody need any Sunfire parts(minus front clip)or 2200 parts?
Going today to pull the wheel off and start removing the control arm and check or other unseen damage.
Hopefully have it on the road monday.

I have the OOO$H!# handles in my green 99 cavy ... found the charcoal headliner, visors and handle in a 97 sunfire in the junkyard for 20 bucks about two yrs ago..
keep looking you can find them .. If you are in the right place at the right time..
