decided to just go all the way


took some machining but i put 2002 gsxr1000 cartridge forks, with a 95 honda cbr900rr wheel and rotors(plus 2mm rotor spacer), 95 kawasaki zx7r 4 pot calipers, on a 1977 kawasaki kz650 frame

Cool as hell. Looks like youve got a bit of a Frankenstein bike going there.

fer sure, maybe 20% of the bike will remain stock. I cannot wait to get it on the road again.

hand made tail and gas tank knee dents

it's getting close

brakes put back on, chain put on,battery cables, carbs put back on, finish putting in stainless allen hardware, set ride height, and i'm ready to cruise around with some indiana j's.

thats cool as hell bro! And the cavy seat mounted to the shopping cart frame is WIN

I can vouch for the Brown County riding, I finally was able to do some exploratory riding yesterday (I've only lived in Franklin for 6 weeks) and found some nice non-straight back roads and wound my way down to Bean Blossom. Saw the big sign for their biker festival (which I had forgotten about until then). Going to have to see if the missus wants to go...

One thing I'll miss about not living farther south was the very easy access to IN58 and IN135 south of Nashville. I swear the longest straight stretch on those two pieces of pavement is 1/4 mile...

Oh well, just have to find some lake roads closer to my new home

Let me check with my social planner -- I think I may end up working some Saturday to make up for hours, but I can probably break free for a few hours one day this weekend. Depending on your plans I might try to talk you in to buzzing through (or close to) Franklin on your way south...
