Possibly selling the Sunfire

Well, I got in a fender bender a couple months ago and am thinking that it's finally time to let it go.

It's a 1995 Gt with the HO swap, including chip.

RKSport Streetfire kit
Class Glass carbon fiber hood with custom eyelids
3" front to back exhaust (just waiting for Ron's header)
Rear bucket conversion
Solid upper and poly lower mounts

Needs the dent pulled and a paint job, then build it or drive it til it dies.
I fixed the body rust a while back, there is some frame rust, but, it's still sound. It can be repaired if you choose.

Pics are around, I've even got damage pics.

Body has around 280,000miles and motor has around 60,000 - 70,000miles on it.

I'm asking $2,000 ORO with a bunch of stock body pieces and spare parts.
if I get no good offers I'll start a part out, or, just keep it and pass it on to my son.

PM me if interested.

I'll grab some, some aren't all that pretty.

I'll try to have my dad grab some of the spare parts as well.
Rims are not on car, stock rims are still in my possession, but, need repainted.

From this spring

The damage

Front bumper, cracked on drivers side but repairable, paint cracked from flex.

it's far from perfect, but a good start. It drives nice and is good on gas. I've got two sets of wheels for it, the stock front, rear, and side body parts, the stock rear seat, a windshield and rear window, a spare lower dash, and various other parts I can possibly get pictures of.

If there's no sale it's either parting out or going to my son as a first car.

So I assume this is not the built motor, and what are you doing with the built motor?

Built motor is going into the 72 Beetle.

Looking for either a spare ECU, or, wiring up the megasquirt and spark I got from a guy on Quad4forums. MSNS is set up for EDIS, may be a better option, I have a complete Ostrich Stand Alone as well.

For what it would cost me to build the Sunfire SAFELY, i can fully race build the Bug. Transaxle being the only real challenge, unless I don't drag race it. if it's street driven or road course ready, the transaxle can be a mild race built and survive, otherwise, I will need a bus/porsche trans for over 350HP. At 350HP a beetle will smoke most cars.

The brother has a porsche split trans in his 59 dune buggy "beetle" with a 1600 motor. I'm sure he would be willing to trade for a good beetle trans and some cash. Fourth gear isn't usable at all with the 1600 motor. It is geared to high. He shifts into 4th at like 60+ and it has no balls. 1st-3rd are geared closer to a normal VW beetle trans.
