***Parting out*** (M62 Supercharger kit, Carbon fiber hood and moar)

Yep, everyone has to do it at some point or another. Wanted to first offer these great parts to the members of J-Body before I put them on E-bay. I have learned so much since i've been a member here, and I know you guys will have as much fun with these parts as I did. Local Pickup would be preferred to save you and me money but shipping is fine, On to the list:

Complete M62 Supercharger "kit". $1800 shipped This was not a GMPP kit, these are parts pulled from a S/C Cobalt. WILL NOT BE PARTING OUT THE KIT. Buyer takes all

List of parts
-Cobalt M62 Supercharger (Has been rebuilt with new S/C coupler, and has new S/C fluids and seals, has the noise ports mod done)
-Cobalt Intake Manifold W/ gaskets (Has dual pass end plate mod done and Intake air temperature mod done, see pics)
-Stock S/c Pulley
-Water to air heat exchanger
-Brand New Bosch Pump with pigtail
-Cobalt Bracket to hold the bosch pump
-Cobalt heat exchanger remote reservoir
-Idler pulley (takes place of the stock tensioner)
-Cobalt belt tensioner
-Stock Cobalt SS S/C injectors
-2002 cavalier fuel rail (to make the injectors fit properly
-2002 Fuel lines if it makes a difference
-Cobalt SS Map Sensor with pig tail ..... was not cheap
-Cobalt belt with one rib shaved off (so it will work with the cavalier accessories)
-Cobalt Upper Radiator hose
-Custom throttle body adapter (need this to use cavalier throttle body)
-Cobalt Brake booster vacuum line
-S/C Flashed PCM*
-Longer bolts for alternator

*Bonus Parts*
-Supercharged Badge from cobalt SS
-2.2L Supercharged IDI cover and other random stickers
-Special tool to put the belt on
-additional coolant pipes if you need them

*Parts you will need to run*
-Colder range spark plugs
-93 octane
-a lead foot

-All Bolts and gaskets have been labeled and bagged for ease of installation. THIS IS THE INSTRUCTIONS TO INSTALL-------> READ THEM there is a couple of really important steps like shaving the block down for the cobalt tensioner. Also in the pics of the supercharger I noticed the 3.1" pulley is still installed on the supercharger that will be taken off and the stock pulley will be put back on.

*S/C Flashed PCM has one issue. Will run and drive your car just fine ran mine off of it a year and a half with no problems, will just set a check engine light for a/c pressure sensor circuit fault, and fuel tank pressure sensor circuit fault. The 5v reference wires on these two circuits are dead. You can get the check engine light to turn off with a trick. Cut the two wires on your harness going to those pins on the PCM, and use proper crimps with heat shrink to tie those wires to a working 5v reference. I think i used the throttle body 5v circuit on my car. Boom check engine light is gone and your a/c works again, YOUR WELCOME.

This pic should give you an idea of how these hoses are installed.

I don't frequent these forums as often as I used to but it caught my eye The vette is working out well and is sorted out for the most part. Definetly quick but there are certain things I miss about the cavy (especially the sleeper effect), everyone expects the vette to be fast when they hear it idle. Glad to hear it worked out for you!

Rotors have their usual wear and tear on them, but made 12 lbs on a cold day easily with the 3.1" pulley. I rebuilt the supercharger with a new coupler and put new s/c oil in it, and include the extra I have in the kit, and i put new seals on on the s/c.
