There are a few around this area. ShoOff, JNickle, HotBug, Tony (already posted) and myself who might take a trip or two to Toledo, we had a meet up that way last summer. Had a lot of fun. Keep us posted

I think Owens College has one, not sure if it is public though, heard rumor that Norwalk Raceway has one, not sure though. then I also heard that Summit may have one as well.
Best bet is to ask at the local community college, they may not charge all that much for the time.

I'm actually in the maumee, area... dunno anyone thats gettin rid of a manual tranny. its unusual to go from manual to auto... go searching at a junkyard maybe... its your only option unless you find one from like ebay or sumthing ya know?

Hey RA, how's it been lately, Yeah, I forgot about Buschur, he may be a bit pricey though since it's a race shop. but if you are looking to turbo a car he's the one to see IMO.
Buschur is pretty expensive...i heard he usually won't touch cars unless they're evos or dsms. But who knows. I'm working on gettin some @!#$ together before spring...maybe we can pull some meets a little closer to sandusky/norwalk this year.

doubtful on the mets in our area, but we can work on the Tiffin/Toledo/Lorain guys and see if they're up for it. right now the Fire is down due to a major motor problem. looks like I'll have to remove the engine and do a teardown to find the problem. I may have to get a 92 quad for a replacement.

See if we had a good place we could get the toledo guys to come over, the cleveland guys to come over and have something where both groups could get together....its only an hour ride either way from sandusky.

fast is not the word, a guy at work has a VW gti 1.8t and I'll tear him up when I get the motor in, another guy has a SRT-4 and I may be able to (don't think so for sure) keep up with him, or at least surprise him a little.
