Update : Keeping the Cav :)
Tuesday, March 15, 2005 9:30 AM
Well my dad got a promotional transfer back to California and I was thinking at first of going back. I've since decided that with my awesome job, a band Im currently working on, and other things that Im going to buy my own house here and stay.

I told my dad to take the GTO and let my mom have it instead of having her order another car. With a house payment, the GTO payment on top of that would have been out of my budget. I could move to CA, live with them and have the GTO, but to me other things are more important right now and I have to remain here.

So I guess that means more mods will begin on the Cav.

I look forward to another good time at the jbom bbq!!!!

It's more like GTO + live with parents/ Cavalier, 98 Chevy van for winter, +My OWN house.

The option for me to have the GTO will always be there, if I ever did decide to move out there in the next 2 years and make payments, my mom will have it that long.

But for me other things are more important for me at this stage in my life, and I need the freedom once again of having my own place, im sure you can all relate to that.

The good thing is now I know for sure the cav will be finished the right way.

Mishkafan: I think it's the second.. These damn cavy's hold sentimental value to me.

Brett,

You could have at least emailed me back or called me instead of me reading about this here. I had a buyer setup with a loan and everything for it...it's sad they took the time to do that when you were going to keep it. Knowing so I woudln't have gotten their hopes up and wasted their time.

Regardless I'm anxious to see what becomes of the car, always thought it was very well done. See you at the BBQ
