update....

sorry fellas i didnt want to postagin and jinx myself. i got the new car. i chose to get an 05 ls sport instead. my friend that works at the dealership got me a RIDICULOUS deal on it. has every option but onstar, xm, and a sunroof. its quite a leap from my 99 base model. only problem im having is learning how to drive it (this is my first 5 speed). some of the parts are sitll for sale so heres an updated list.

Better save up for a clutch . I learned stick on an old truck my stepdad had, thank god. Hell all my family had was 5 speed, my first truck even was. Have fun with it, shifting is soo much better.

pfft. It's not that hard. My first Cav. (1990 VL Base Model) was a 5speed. I learned stick
on it.
I sold that car with 200,000 miles on it & it still ran good. lol

Well it all depends on the driver, not the car, and there are variables/different meanings for "it's not that hard". It takes some skill/learning if you want to drive stick the right way is better wording I suppose......

i learned to drive clutch by playing video games!!! then i went to carmax and test drove a 96 cobra 5spd. didnt do too bad. but yeah, this is my first 5spd, and while im not the best, im always getting better. i have about 48k on the clutch right now and its still going strong
