i work 8-5 on sat... so i wont be able to make it to Bad Newz till 6:30 - 7 (i work right off Indian River Road & Kempsville)

I like this one the best.... (in terms of window decals)

Except for a couple things

"GM" Should be the same size as "R"

and it would look better if it said "COMPACTS" instead of "COMPACT"

I'm pullin a late night at the shop... we're finishing up the last two cars that are goin to NOPI Nats...

I'll be uploading pictures as the night progresses until i leave here at 4 AM

Its a lil plain for my tastes... beef it up a little (fonts) maybe put the word "sport compacts" in there

So ya saturday is like tomorrow now... what time are we meeting up... i get off work at 5 and will have to haul ass down there straight from work most likely ...

----

Mark --- So youve been up to Dialdin... then i assume you know Todd... hes got a Scion TC now and is apart of Speedline. He took best TC in the seven cities scion show a couple weeks back out in cpeake.

anyway... check out the Speedline pics now... imma take one more round of pics of the two cars clean... and imma try to get movies of the teg's motorized lambos opening and the of its motorized tvs flipping up... it should all be there in the morning... http://www.j-body.tk/speedline/ ...

i like it like that, I dont like logos that are all cluttered up and you can barely make out what it's trying to say.

I agree simple to the point.
I LOVE it. Would happily put it on my
car and you all remember my objections to
stickers on my car right =). Also simpler designs
are cheaper to create.

Ok so are we all agree we will meet at 6:30 in the afternoon
at lets say the outback steakhouse. We can chill grab
dinner and check each others progress a little. I got duty
on sunday so thats out for me.

Again 6:30 Sat afternoon Outback Steakhouse Hampton
Right?

Not true at all... most vinyl shops charge by size.... if a roll of vinyl costs me $15 bucks... no matter what i plot on it with the plotter... its still $15

I'm agree with you all on the simple concept... i just dont like that font ...

i played with some fonts and came up with this....

Someone gimmie a call I dont care who! 535-2329 is my new number for those who dont have it. CASPER glad to see ya made it back ok, haha i still have your trophy. . . .gimmie a call. ^^^yea, long time no hear. i will be busy tonight and probably tomorrow... (homework/studying is brutal)

also, im still partial to this logo, i really like the font of the revolution. the slight curve in the 'r' gives it that little tweek it needs to be a tad bit over conservative.

I used the same font... im looking at it in plotting terms... The word "Revolution" is outlined... now the smaller the vinyl the easier it is to peel off the car over time (weather and driving and such)... we had to redesign "The Import Shop" decals because of this.... our first set kept pealing on peoples cars cause the vinyl was too thin

You also may want to space the GM and the R just a little bit... we dont want a repeat of "Junior Evolution" =P

Conservative on Wild is ugly.... but on contrast... Wild on Conservative is ugly too... So to meet in the middle, you gotta go Mild.

Re: GM-Revolution
Friday, September 16, 2005 4:46 PM
i agree with Zach... Although, i feel that we need to do something to the GM, it looks a bit too plain sitting there. I know we are trying to go "Mild" so i dont want to come across like i want the GM to have flames or skulls, etc. lol, but we just need to tweek the GM somehow, some way...know what im sayin?

SORRY TO POST WHORE....

Jason, is there any way you could take his font, and play with the letters GM, and a sport compacts/background kinda thing?

how big are we planning to make these logos? cus 15 bux a roll dont sound too bad, i mean i'm willing to throw down for the production cost, but like i just want 2 small ones i can stick on my rear passenger windows...not some huge windshield banner haha and if we keep em like that a roll should hold us over...of course im just speculating and thinking economically...

Hey people whats up.

Ok everyone we are meeting tomarrow at the mall off mercury by the outback place at 6:30. Brad give me a call

Tiff call me when you get a chance (909) 636- 7487 cause i would really like to pick that up. Also maybe ill go to that meeting place you mentioned.

Will ill play with the idea of that sticker but i do kind of like it. However i was thinking of adding the gauge in the back ground.

well i just spent 13 hours at the car shop so im going to sleep. Call me tomarrow people.

Jason

damn this whole time i thought you guys were meeting at the outback by patrick henry mall. thats what i get for skimming the board!

i dont really know how the cops are over by coliseum mall....

anyways....dont get off till 730....so ill give you a call Jason.... see everyone tomorrow!

Re: GM-Revolution

hey jason... you do know a vinyl plotter just "cuts" the vinyl... there is no way a gauge would show up ....

Now if i talk to Bear he can print on to vinyl and then cut it... but Bear rapes in the ass on prices... (so does virtually everyone else with that type of printer)... (and to give ya an idea why... Bear just paid $5000 to replace his plotter.... )

i do like Will's sticker... however the "GM" needs something to make it stand out... but i agree with Will the "R" really sets the whole thing off...

well its 4 AM ... i have to be at work in 4 hours... i redid my center console... relocated some wiring, and added two more sets of switches...

mmmmm 7'11 NOS energy drink .... waitin for me tomorrow morning...

i'll be rollin out tomorrow... so see yall there...
