hey yall... let me be the first to say that i think we realy got alot accomplished here and i think next time around when more people get together more will be accomplished..

Things discussed were:
Decals
Super Chevy and Freak Show
Shops
and as always... cars...

to throw my 02 cents in.. .if it comes down to a vote and Mark's decal is the official decal... i'll plot em... and i guess we'll see if they dont start peeling... but if they do one day on multiple cars (and for those who don't know... compact, small sized, outline text plotted in vinyl doesnt stick to windows that long) we'll re-evaluate then

however.. i still like Will's decal and my vote goes there.

What im going to try to do with decals and the shop is if we, the starting members, can pitch in for a roll of vinyl (between $15 - $25) and plot the whole roll with the decal... and distribute em till they run out (which will i doubt will happen)... so the starting members will basically get the decals for free after the cost of the roll... and maybe we can charge new members like $2 - $5 for a set of two.. and that costs will go to benefit the team. (even teams that dont have dues do charge new members for decals)

If i do that ... heres what i ask... if anyone knows anyone that needs decals... send em to Dialdin and have them talk to me.... not Bear... and i'll let everyone know how much its gonna be per foot after i negotiate that with the shop (because im working for Dialdin)

So the team gets basically free decals and my shop gets business and new members are still paying less than any other team for decals... win win for everyone...

Now this isnt set in stone... first off the team needs to decide whether we want me to plot the decals or not... and second when Todd and Jeff get back from NOPI on tuesday, i need to run it by them... i dont see it being a problem... but i have to clear it with em.

alrightie folks... keep tuned to this thread... cause jason is gonna be posting about the next meet, the decals.. and all that other good stuff

ok here are the sigs to choose from. Pick 2 and only 2. Also vote on if you think we should have 2 sigs to pick from to put on your car. These seemed like the most talked about sigs.

1)

2)

3)

4)

5)

I hate to say it but i still prefer the first one.
It may peel or may not but i say lets find out.
As for the money for a roll of vinyl i'll take care of
that.

Oh and one other thing we discussed at the meeting.

We are planning to be at the Super Chevy show in Dinwidie.
Jason has more details than I do.
My goal for this event is to get as many people to go as we can.
I want to have decals printed and available for every car
willing to associate with us.

The only requirement to join out team is simple. Have an interest
in you car and apply our sticker.

Here is how i see membership. ***After initial members that is***
Make contact with us. YOUR A PROSPECT
Make 2 meetings and get a sticker YOUR A MEMBER
************* THATS ALL *******************

Re: GM-Revolution

you know i was looking at other decals we've made... the first one may work but it needs to be a little bit thicker... maybe a simple bolding, but if not, then up the font size a little...

look at this

The street legal decal in the back, and on the side....

then the Dialdin Decal on the back (the small ones, however like on the side, were printed on white vinyl and cut around to give the illusion of outline)

they are outlined but the vinyl around the outline is really thick so it doesnt peel...

if nothing else peels on the first one... the lines in the center of the Os will peel off and that line in the center of the U will peel up

i still however like Wills because its not a conservative font, its a mild font... that way it'll look good on Conservative, mild, and Wild cars... Wild is a very hard class to compete in... Its all show, and its usually "ALL Car (domestic and Import) Wild..." so anything non conservative helps me out...

my vote goes to 6 and 5 ... i still like the word "sport compacts" in there...

Take this one... and put at the bottom

"General Motors Sport Compacts of Virginia" ... and try to stretch that under the word Revolution... and that'll be perfect in my mind...

Brad i'll call you later on today... although you know my opinion, that way you'll have my number ...

email me that list of things you want done

Well what do you guys think of a meet next week. Since we meet on this side of the water how about lynnheven mall next week. (yea i cant spell). Where thinking about sunday of next week around 6pm. What do you guys think? That way it might be easier for somet people to go. Besides it a place that we can talk and hang out for a while and then walk around the mall if you guys what.

Well the first meet went pretty cool. Not to many cars but then again we are just starting up.

Talk to guys later

Ok that the last one.
I like it, but personnaly like Gm seperated from
revolution. If others like it too
it might be worth a vote.

Bosswoman if you want to come to a meet get in touch with someone
and i'm sure they will be happy to meet you and show you around.
As for a turbo well that depends on how much trouble and time you
want to spend hunting for parts. You can save a little if you piece it.
Wasn't worth it for me though.

Re: GM-Revolution

im still down with the very first one.

Re: GM-Revolution
Sunday, September 18, 2005 1:28 PM
Will and i are sitting right here

we like number 7... just flip the "i" back to right side up and you got you a winner there...

Will says he has an idea for it... hes gonna photochop it when he gets home (since we're at my house in VA Beach right now)
