hehe thanks...but for the logo i honestly dont care what it is as long as it doesnt look too crazy...i for one dig the simple and clean look

i can make the first one a bit more thicker so it would be easier to plot and lessen the peeling...

Also vote on if you think we should have 2 sigs to pick from to put on your car.

so if ur more partial to one u can rock 'gm rev' to your liking

-GM stands for Got Mark?
-"shampoo? i'll poop on your shams!!!"

Hey " extreme "
If i buy the vinyl how hard is it to be able
to cut different style if people want it a little
different.

I mean if its cool with everyone else i figure as long as its
simple enough and says GM Rev can people just choose between
like 3 different styles.

Is this a bad idea or do you guys think it would fly.
Only downside i see is it will be a little harder to identify
us as the same club from a distance.

I love the idea... but i dont see it working to will for GM Rev... the team needs a singular decal... maybe the word GM Rev stays the same and have different attributes per classes of cars... but thats about it... otherwise you're going to lose cohesiveness

Speedline does it this way.. but we have Speedline which is mild division, Speedline Race Division... and Speedline Elite (wild cars)

Yeah thats what i was worried about.

Ok scrap that idea we need to all agree on
one style decal for our cars. I'm all about
conservative

we gotta go mild...

conservative looks good only on conservative
wild looks good only on wild

but mild will work either way...

i like Mark's second decal...

i change my vote to this one... and im waiting to see will's modification that he wants to make

hey mark... if you didnt see my reply to your post (cause zach me and u posted all within 5 minutes) look at the last post on the last page

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
BINGO

i like that

Re: GM-Revolution

hey guys remember that everyones car is different and if you guys are like me then you are picky on what you put on your car.

I think we should have a few different choices cause everyones car is different. How ever even if there are a few choices they shouldnt be that diffrerent. That way the team logo looks pretty much the same. Also have you guys thought about color.

also with Number 7, how it says sport compact of virginia, well that seems like any type of sport compacts can join. Focus, civic, etc. We need to make sure that the GM stands out. We all remember how J-rev was confused as JR- evolution. I think that with choice 7 the GM and the R might get confused. Thats why im still going with choice 1.

But choice 1 and 7 arent that far from each other so why not have both. We can always add sport compacts of Virginia to choice 1.

my 2 cents

Re: GM-Revolution

simple fix... put General Motors Sport Compacts of Virginia.

---
now for color

i think it should be up to the owner of the car on color...

there are some things to consider
existing decal colors
car color
light and dark

what i mean by light and dark is that light colors show up from a distance, while dark dont...

my windshield decal is dark blue so cops dont really notice it, but when im parked at a show, its there and readable... i have some friends on ultraspeed that have black u speed decals for that reason...

anyway in an ideal situation that would be great...

im plotting mine in the same pastel blue because i still have some vinyl left on that roll and i'd like my decals to be cope'asthedic....

but we go with one roll of vinyl and go from there we need to decide what colors... the universal colors are white, white reflective, and silver...

Re: GM-Revolution

I personally like the one posted at 333 pm today
if you want gm to stand out a little more then i say
seperate it from revolution so the M and R are different
letters.

Color should be up to the owner

Different styles would be hard to identify as the same
team so we should avoid that

So the way i see it if there are no objections
the one posted at 333pm with a possible small change
should be used since a majority of us seem fine with it

Re: GM-Revolution
Sunday, September 18, 2005 7:27 PM
no way... i like the R spliced off the M ... it gives it the flair it needs to be mild....

Will's Circle in the middle helps diferenciates (spelling) it too...

imma wait to see mark's revision tomorrow...

Hey rob wassup... feel free to jump in on the decal debate =P... glad to see you're rollin with us

Re: GM-Revolution
Sunday, September 18, 2005 7:45 PM
yes way............... i dont want to be know as GMR evolution. For the people that were in J-rev they know what i mean. Everyone was like...... hey whats JR evolution or JR Revolution.
Cant keep doing that. GM needs to be separate from Revolution. This way there is NO confusion.

Re: GM-Revolution
Sunday, September 18, 2005 8:12 PM
i know all about that...

i think i can comprimise... That circle that Will put in... cant we put that in the R anyway...

if you cant tell already... i hate standard computer fonts on a car. any font that came with Micro$oft Windblows shouldnt be on my car unless the font has some type of modification...

anyway im talkin to Will right now and we're cookin somethin up...

Re: GM-Revolution
Sunday, September 18, 2005 8:28 PM
sorry but even with your little dot it still looks like GMR evolution.

The GM has to be apart from the revolution

i know... Will is workin right now

we are taking your version... and going from there...

so it'll be a Mark / Jason / Will Hybrid...

i think we'll all like this next one...
