Well, it may only be the end of February, but the Bash will be here soon enough... If you are leaving Thursday or Saturday, this really doesn't apply to you.
I know that we have people in the Toledo area, Cincinnati area and Akron area wanting to join the caravan so I figure I would start a thread for anyone coming from East/North of Ohio...
Check in time for the Super 8 is 3 oclock (or sooner, Indiana time). Since these things normally run late, I'd say we would have to plan to leave the Dayton stop by 2 oclock Ohio time... That makes the Columbus stop roughly 12:30 Ohio time... I dont know if any of the WV guys want to join up in Columbus or not, but I figured this would be a good way to get the plan started... Post up if this sounds decent or if you have suggestions (people planning on joining this caravan only, please)...

i think most of us from northern wv will have to go through columbus to get to the bash...so im down with joining up.
im sure ill have at least 2-3 others with me.

Had you guys talked about what time you were leaving? Does 12:30 sound like a reasonable time for you guys to get to Columbus? I know that means leaving by 8:30
i know of some columbus people that will join the caravan in cbus. let us know when you think you'll be stopping in cbus. you can take a lunch break with us and we'll join in.

yea im the stupid one here, when is the bash? where? im def going, and i have no clue when it is. and how much dinero should i plan to bring? i was going to go last year but the rents said no, so their letting me go this year. thanks guys

I think it would be best that each stop has someone with a cell so that the incoming group can call ahead and relay info... Hopefully, I'll have a cell by then... lol

yea i got a cell, im thinkin of reserving a room sometime in the next week, good idea? i figured so many people would be stayin at the super 8 that i should get a room now while i still can. never been to a bash, should be a good time, cant wait till july now!

super 8 was booked 2 weeks ago just so you know.

you would have to get the information of the person you are giving the room to and tell the hotel you need to change your reservation to their name.
well if anyone wants my reservation it is for the super 8 (avon) for thursday, friday and saturday.

I will be going but waiting till a lil closer to see if im going friday or saturday but if i go and caravan where is going to be the meeting points for all theses citys wheres the designated spot for each one?
We haven't gotten that as far as designating actual meeting spots.
I think Columbus will be the first major intersection of the caravans. Probably a spot JUST west of downtown would be best... the Hilliard/New Rome exit might be best, but I'll let someone from C-bus help decide that.
As far as the Dayton stop, there is a exit a little west of the 70/75 interchange that has a Meijer with a huge parking lot. It would probably be best to make that one for Dayton since anything else would mean backtracking for anyone coming from 75 (north or south).
From that stop, it'll be roughly an hour to Indy
