Replacement for the DD...........for now.
Sunday, August 03, 2008 2:13 PM
Since my job transfered me to downtown Detroit and I dont feel like abusing the 98 I felt it was time to hope like hell the 02 held up.

Old:

New:

It really fits in as a beater. Has oil leaks, its loud, runs rough, looks like ass, handles horribly, and is just a POS in general.

I will never do any performance work to the engine in the 98. Dont want to @!#$ that one up as well. Should get me around for a while before the bottom end gets to bad. Trying to get all the funds together to rebuild the bottom end again.

On a side note I still have multiple sets of 00-02 Z wheels. Anybody want to buy some?? the money will only go toward the engine in teh 02. I promise.

I definitely dig how the beater has a venom fuel rail and an optima battery.

Used to be the "race car". At one time it went 14.5@108.92. Today it would be lucky to do 15.0

I gave the steelies a fresh coat of paint.

Gotta love no traction all the way through most of third. It did go 13.9@103 but that was with 8 PSI and my 14.5 was at 10 PSI. I also broke an axle and did some other damage that day.
