Snow for New England.......
Monday, January 10, 2011 2:02 PM
....Is on it's way and I still haven't found some snow tires yet........I got 4 good tires from the Malibu that went *smash* but now I can't find 15" wheels either.....The forecast for my area of CT is 6 to 12 inches from Tuesday night into Wednesday and I have to drive close to an hour and 15 to get to my school for training.....Anyone got any good snow pics for this year yet ?

I also prefer the over salting but the over sand some roads to the point of have small hills near the side of the road.. 2 days after the last snow my wife hit one of those going around ancients and totaled her car... '05 Malibu in the scrap yard....a guy may buy my tires so I'll keep you posted on those wheels, Mrs. Jazer

They're only calling for 3"-6" here. I'm a manager & when we got 1" last Friday & was missing 2 employees. C'MON! We were supposed to have a meeting Wednesday morning & that's already bumped to Thursday in anticipation of people calling off. I say BRING IT ON!

Somewhere in the 3-5 range is what they're calling for in Delaware. I guess we'll see what happens and how much snow we really get...

Copied my post from a diff thread, but yeah, we got hammered over here.

My Cavy after I cleaned close to a foot off of it to go to work yesterday, another few inches after I left work after a few hours, and then this is what I came outside to this morning.

We got over 2 feet in my town... Freaking back hurts from shoveling and jumping off the deck onto a snow pile

Got about 14" in Hingham, MA. But the worst part is that it's the wet, nasty snow. Not even good for skiing

I just spent the week in Brockton Hingham and North Quincy cause of the storm. We actually stayed on Hingham rd. @!#$ Beautiful there with all that snow and the sun shining..

Rod, I'd much rather have the salt then none at all. I love when people bitch about the salt ( not you but some of my friends) cause of the environment and there cars....Have you ever driven on roads with no salt? It sucks. They are never clear, the traction is nill. Sure you can just drive safe, but when you have to do 20mph on the thruway every day it gets old. My town is salt free (they dont even use sand) and it @!#$ sucks. I watched a 4 wheel drive truck just sit and spin all four at an intersection....every car had to back up and get a running start.
