I'd love to see how that setup runs. There's another guy in Portland with a sc setup. I'll definitely keep you both on the list for meets.

Nice, so this spring/summer might turn out pretty well. =]

Let's hope so, everyone is kinda spread out. We should cement a date or 2 so that people can plan accordingly. It's really just you, Tim, and myself that are reasonable distances for weekly or bi-weekly meets/hang outs. Everyone else would probably need to plan at least a few weeks in advance to make it work. I wanna try and meet up with the CSS guys in CT for their big meet too, just waiting on the date.

Tim,
It has been several years since the New England J-Body Organization was active. I am most familiar with the years from 2002 to 2005 when more than 40 members gathered at a public park in Wethersfield, CT, met at the Hu Ke Lau Restaurant in Chicopee, at a restaurant in Providence and attended dyno days in Worcester. It was a great group of people with concerned leadership and a crew who helped one another out.
As time went on, cars were sold or crashed, marriages, families and the military intervened and the group dissolved.
I still have my 99 Sunfire convertible but I am not aware of any other members who still have j-bodies.
One contact person is Fred Simmons of SMG Motorsports in Hopedale who raced a very successful Cavalier. He may remember some of the old members.

Thanks for all the info! Never knew there was anything up here before. I gotta get in touch with this guy, a
dyno day could be in the future. Jack so far I know of at least 5 or 6 people that are serious about a meet that I'm keeping in touch with for the spring. If you want, I can add you to that list just to keep you updated?
"In Oldskool we trust"
thanks for the info jack let us know if you find any one and we will try and get something together
Ryan,
Please add my name to the list.

Hey how much work did it take to put the sc in?

Kind of embarrassing but I bought it with it installed. It's definitely not as challenging as you think it is though. I have the install instructions you can look at to see what's involved. Once you see what its like, you'll be hooked.
