That is true. I think if more folks asked about it one of the companies might look into it if the interest from enthusiasts is there. For an entry level grocery getter, these are pretty potent for an N/A 4 banger. I really had no idea what to expect from my 05 Sunfire, but it is quite a peppy little car that in my opinion is worth modifying. My only issue is emissions (Allegheny Co.) since this is my daily driver. From reading throughout this board, they seem to be somewhat sensitive to mods, IE throwing nice codes which do not go well with PA emissions inspection.

I have a full exhaust on intake and so forth and havn;t thrown a code yet. Its all in how you do it. If you don;t do it right stuff is going to be screwed up.

As for the companies making stuff, what i have found that even if there is interest people arn;t going to waste there time if they don;t think it will actually sell. Most people are cheep when it come sto these cars which is unfortunate, but again you have to look at what the primary use is for them....

I have this marked on my calendar, unless we have a blizzard.
Sight - I suppose we'll just have to wait and see what develops.. HP tuners HAD an "On the Horizon" blurb at the bottom of their home page at one point which had an J-Body application in the works. Unfortunately I cannot find it anywhere on their site now.

Wings = gwood. They really do have top-notch food there. Plus I can hug the waitress and wear the bucket on my head.

How close is that to St Marys?? I'm just north of DuBois and If it's close I'll head out with you guys too. I'm guessing about an hour n a half. So... weather permitting.. look for the "little orange car" lol
I might drag my other half with me too, I'm sure he'll enjoy it.

Sometimes being hot, and blonde has it's advantages....
especially when all the cops know you have a bright orange car...

i noticed a typo that i made a while back...lol. its snowin again dammit. rte. 8 was closed off when i was on my way home...all lanes, they were sendin traffic down a back road. car accident, looked like the cars hit head on. my guess is one slid across the road n hit the other...ahh, the joys of driving on PA roads...bleh. i hope everyone was ok.

Where on Rt 8? I was in Erie and Meadville today and while it snowed most of the day, I79 was clear.

St. Marys would be about 3 hours depending on the route you take. I have to go to the National City branches there on occasion and it takes me about that long to get there from Pittsburgh.

Shifted, robo and I are workin on software. Just leaning up on the OBDII stuff myself and catching up with them...but hopefully one day. HP Tuners will always put the j-body platform off for the V8s. They put us aside again for the new LS2 in the GTO.

I have some engine work done, but it is a 2.4L. I dont believe the hype of the Eco motor. As soon as you add mods to the Eco, you get a CEL. Not for me. Oh and I have not even been close to failing emissions testing according to the counts on the printout. Fully built motor will be in this spring...as soon as I get it to the machine shop to be balanced.
