71 in a 45. How many points?
Saturday, March 26, 2005 9:18 PM
Going to my girls house to pick her up and go bowling I got pulled for 71 in a 45. It says I have a $140 fine but I have no clue how many points it is? Any clues?

You could get it dropped to 1 pt and the fine when you go to court though. Where were you at when you got pulled over? Take someone's baby to court with you and cry for the judge, it works every time.

try 75 in a 35. the cop screemed. dropped it to 55 so it wouldnt be wreckless driving and it was still a $395 ticket. No points here in Ct though! I was lucky

damn right that says premium biatch!

I was on 108 at like 10 and there was no one on the road (thus my speeding more than normal).

I think I am going to send in the copy saying I am guilty but still go to court to see if I can have the points lowered. Fines are not a problem for me, it just means a little less money going into the cavy and civic.

your best bet is to admit fault...and take what they give you. you know you were speeding, why try to fight that fact?

good luck...and slow the hell down!

no...slow driving on the street is for people who don't feel the need to be stoplight racers(and waste extra gas doing it).

if i want to drive fast, i'll go to the track...thanks

the only speedign ticket i got was on the GSP for goin 80+ in a 65... that was 4 points because the parkway is doubled. if u live in jersey and u gets the points dropped that go under as a moving violation, not only do u pay more in court to get the points dropped; but they now also send you a $150 surcharge in the mail for it now..too just got mine in the mail 2months ago for a moving violation.. im goin to defenseive drving school in 1 week, so i can get 2 points off my license.. hahah anything will help me even if it isnt off my insurance points..

Just fight it in court... thats all you have to do to get the points dropped. just pay the fines if they are no prob. but TAKE IT TO COURT. might as well you have nothing to loose. the can either keep it or drop it.... they wont raise the cost or n e thing if you do take it to court.

just go to court look professional (suit and all) speak nicely to the judge and he will drop it too jsut a fine and no points, that is as long as you say your guilty
