Yeah we can set up a date. Lets do it soon though because I am booked after this weekend and I know you need your car done by May. I can also do anything after 6:00 PM during the week other than Tuesday nights. Just let me know what you want. I'll post directions for you guys later. I need to get some other stuff taken care of first. I still will not be able to make this meet. Hope everyone has fun

The problem is I think Brian is actually pulling a legit code. So when I meet up with him we will see what the issue is. Considering that the two things you have changed are the TB and the Intake. There are two sensors their to worry about, so either one of them aren't hooked up, or one of them went bad during installation. Eitherway the scanner will figure that out for us.

is the tps sensor adjustable on that throttle body? might just need to be recalibrated but you'll need an ohmeter and a service manual with the specs. If it wasn't plugged in it *should* barely be able to run, but maybe some silly bastard left the IAT sensor unplugged.

haha yeah I know I didn't plug in the AIT sensor into the intake, Im assuming its that cause I drove with it out, because it would not reach where it needed to slip into in the intake soo im assuming its that, everything on the TB is plugged in and snug and I plugged them all in before I turned the car on.

no I plugged it in after I drove it around to test everything out, cause at the time it didn't reach where it was suppose to go into but now it does and I still got the code. and my TRAC goes on and off during my long trips to school back and forth

What exactly has you pissed at GM lately Jay??? I to have been pissed about my own auto problems, but I can hardely blame them on GM.....

FIRST OF ALL: it too me about 1 hr and 20 mins to get to Bryans house, coming home??? 59 mins
oh yeah it was fun. anyways on to my issuse, it seems that the AIT sensor was one of the problems that tripped the CHECK light and I had two HIGH idle sensors (the same?) and that is the last problem. This High idle isn't setting off my CHECK light, but the large tube (vacuum) might have either a hole in it or its loose around the TB if thats not it, gonna install the old TB and see what happens.

Not your car lol.... mostly anything on the S10 platform... we sell them by the buttload as used cars and they are pieces of @!#$ with the dumbest engineering i've ever seen. And i work for chrysler.... if that doesn't say it all i don't know what does lol.
Brian D, you don't have a mass airflow sensor, so the intake pipe being loose around the throttle body won't mean anything to your idle or check engine light. Check the smaller lines that come off the TB and the intake manifold. Also make sure the TB is torqued all the way down, could be a leak from the gasket (that throttle body is the one that only fits two bolts right?).
