And no I'm not just sticking up for pj, i'm going through the same battle with Danielle (some of you know her as the girl with the SRT4)... she thinks she'd beat me in a race just because her best time is 14.5 and mine is 14.6.... except my 60' times and r/t's are way better than her's so it will be very close.... i just hope i win or i have to take her out to dinner again... Not that I'm complaining
Anyway i'll be there with my new grill and with my N75 and N249 valves bypassed to give the wastegate absolute control over boost. Not that any of you know what either of those things are lol. Or cares... But the Beetle is getting a new turbo and hopefully some drag radials soon as well, but not in time for the meet.

yea the race was close cuz I tree'd the living hell out of mandy
but her car has more than enough power to make up the difference
I ran a 15.968 to her 15.452 although I crossed the line first since my r/t was .444 and hers was a 1.030
other than the out right beating her to the line thing, she was faster in the 60, 330, 1/8, 990 and 1/4 mile than me... her car runs the 1/8 in under 10 seconds and her highest trap of the day was 90mph!!!
I haven't gotten down to the finer points of cutting lights, so our next move is to get her to drop those r/ts and shift faster and she should be running consistent low 15s with just an intake

you can see about half track is where she starts to catch up to me... but in the end, I have about a fender on her when we cross the line

We'll see what kind of times I run on new tires (because all 4 went flat spotted) ($200 for 4 tires installed though I'm kind of scared to see if they work) and a home track with a water box that you can drive around.

OK a little bad news. Because of some technical difficulties the Dyno Day is being pushed back to May for now. So I hope everyone can make it to May's Dyno Day as I knwo there was some schedule conflicts with April as well. Once I get word that the Dyno is reading our engines accurately then I will let everyone know. And still I'm sorry for the delay on the meeting location for next week.
Right now the plans are to meet at the end of the mall farthest from the highway behind the parking garage. There is a parking lot there which nobody ever parks in and we should not be harrased. I will scope it out this weekend and see if I can get a drawing for everyone of where this is exactly.

Well i dunno, if I can cut 2.18 60' times, and PJ can cut 2.2's, and mandy can run 15.4 with just an intake.... i think there's less wrong with atco than someone would like to believe
Just messin bri, atco takes some getting used to but its cheaper and definitely from what i've seen a much more relaxed environment. Plus no rt.9 traffic.
I'll be at atco tonight as a matter of fact, so if anyone else happens to wander out there, the Beetle is hard to miss.
Oh on another note it looks like me and my dad are going for the last ski trip of the season on saturday so if i make the meet, i'll be really late, but probably won't make it at all. We're going to Hunter Mtn in NY so its not like the quick hour and a half jaunt to camelback like last time.

Nah it's cool bro I understand. There where to many factors that when into my problems with ATCO, one being my dumb ass chasing a WRX while taking video causing me to flat spot all four tires, then there is the issue where I was treating the new ECO like a 2200 which I have proven to myself is not going to work especially since I don't have the advantage of the potenza tire's anymore, and finally is I just didn't like how there was no inspection and had to sit there for so long waiting for them to clean up the track everytime.
But you know what if I lived closer to ATCO maybe I wouldn't mind going there as much. But for now the 15-20 minute drive to E-Town (I only have to take backroads to get there) keeps it my track of choice. And I still have to stick with liking to drive around the water pit. I should have some time to get used to the car at the track tomorrow and I'll let you guys know how I do. After all according to IMP my car is 206 HP LOL yeah right.

Bad News guys, Jersey Kid Caviii has been totaled.
Me and Bruce were coming home from getting food and i was rear ended by a Brand New Nissan Marano. The driver was said to be going 45+ , and slammed into the back of my car. The seats broke instantly as did the back window. The left rear side was destroyed, the quarter panel is laying on my tire. My new muffler is basically a pancake. The trunk was pryed open to save the speakers in the trunk. Im trying to get pictures sometime this week.
The driver was arrested for DWI .
But surprisingly , the wing is okay
. Im still going to try to make it to the meet anyways.

Depending on how the insurance company looks at your modifications (if they don't deduct for you actually modifying that is) they should probably give you between 5-7K for the car. So if you don't owe any money on it that's a great deposit on an ECO

Only downside is that all the dealerships near us are running out of Cavaliers, maybe it is time to look at Cobalts
. As far as base model's go All American has 3 and Pine Belt has 10, least expensive one being at Pine Belt base price is $16,100 and after rebates is selling for $12,100.
Hell for that price you could go to All American they got 4 Cobalts starting at $14,270 and after rebates is $12,770. So $670 more and you got a cobalt could be the first of the Jersey J's with one

BTW I said I would post my times. I showed up late so I only got one time trial and then lost my first round of elminations. But I ran 1 15.458 and then a 15.422 (I should have just written 15.4 on the window instead of 15.45) Oh well still learning the car and I need to figure out how to launch better. Need some practice with this feather clutch thing my 60' is still in the 2.4's and it should be the 2.2's both runs were at 90 MPH.
