It looks like it'll be $50 per person as long as 10 go. Should see how much it is to have both lanes preped. Then it talks about someone has to work the tree and burnout box.... looks like the g/f's now have something to do
Mine bitched all the way down she was bored...
... Then it finally got to me on the way home, so i let her drive while i played walkie talkie tag with the other guys from CNY...
Hey BURNOUT and the guy with the SRT-4.. What ever happend to you guys? We lost you guys comming home and waited for a good 15 min on that large hill on the way out of the town of Watkins Glen because we lost you and Riki with the black 03. He's the only one who caught up.. hopefully you guys made it home alright. We tried callin you both on the walkies.
that track looks like its only for 10 cars, and every extra car is $50. thats kinda pricey.
but im down if more people are down

If anyone has ever been there, they know it's worth it. Best damn track I've ever been to. It was laser leveled and has the longest "kill zone" in the nation (so I've been told). It's also for 6 hours.

$50 A car is not that bad, you can make alot of runs in 6 hours especially if there isn't many cars. Nyirp is one of the best tracks I've been on. The hard thing you might find is a Open day to book the track your pretty limited to weekday daytime hours I hope people can get off of work. Only having one prepped lane is fine that track is pretty sticky reguardless.
I'm In for Whenever this happens.
What days are those shows? Isn't there an 1/8 mile track in tioga ny? Just another ideal as well. I know it isn't a 1/4 but still a track
Yeah there is a 1/8th In Tioga it's still really greasy and new, give it till mid July and it should stick like glue.
The Buffalo Guys drove down this way last time. We should drive up that way next time around, It's about 2hrs away from us.
Ok we have a lot of ideas. Lets make it happen. Cooter since the track was you're awesome idea make the call and find out some dates.
CRJ - The red Srt-4 and turbo Cavalier stopped at the Pizza Hut in town. I replied on the radio that we were all set on directions but you were kinda choppy so maybe it didn't go through. We didn't realise you guys were gonna hang out some more, sorry (my car would have ruined your nice photo shots anyways..lol).
As for renting ESTA, don't waste your time trying, due to a lawsuit they can only run on sundays (which are their normal events) and on a saterday following a rained out sunday (which end up being test and tunes).
Some VW friends of mine are renting out NYIRP for a meet and are paying the 50 a person like was mentioned. So if everyone doesn't mind paying 50 to race that would be the best bet.
BTW, it was great meeting everyone that came to Watkins Glen, hopefully we can arrange a get together were we can accually race our cars. I wanna see Agent Purge accually put some nitrous into his engine instead of into the air..lol.. J/K.

the syracuse show is july 30th at the NY state fairgrounds in syracuse.
the buffalo show is june 19th at lancaster speedway. it is drift, drag, slalom, audio, and show. its only an 1/8 mile track, but still fun. i just cant wait to see people drift the oval track. someones gotta hit the wall at least once, lol

Spencer thats a great pic man. I got a few on regular 35mm that i have to get developed yet. I took a few of your car which is amazing in person. I also tried snapping a few of Chris spraying and Dann passing me on 81 so we'll see how good that camera is while taking pics in motion. Then a few of the line up outside the gates at the Glen.
Is any one going to DDS just to view? I would like to go up but, number one; dont want to get lost going that far out of my way and number 2; wont have the money to register.

If the $50 is too steep we could just opt to meet at NYIRP on a friday. It's just a test and tune and will only cost $10 or something like that. As long as there's not a MOM'S event going on there's usually not too many people there. Of course if there is a MOM'S event that night, we can spank some Mustangs.

On Fridays NYIRP is $12 to race. Usually they're pretty busy but they keep the cars rolling and you get quite a few passes down. It's just such a great track
just outside depew i thought. The one you can see from I-90
the one from the 90 is dunn tire park raceway was Lancaster race way. i thought nyirp was like in batavia area?
Ha ha, beats me then. I don't come out to buffalo that much to know my right from left...
