Damn you guys post alot. I just finally get a chance to read the org and was about to post for the June meet. Guess I got beat to it. I agree though that the 25th is way to far into the month. I mean if majority decides that's the vote then that is what we will do, but I personally think it should be a vote between the 11th and the 18th. To keep on the second saturday of the month the 11th is what would have been my vote.
On another side note I don't know if any of you noticed but we are growing quite large and these small parking lots like Taco Bell and White Castle just don't seem to accomodate us anymore. So we need to start looking for larger parking lots to meet at. Also keeping in mind that where ever we go should be somewhere easy to find and access. I beleive that this meet is to be in the central/central(if that makes sense) location according to location rotation.
Last time we met up at the monmouth mall and I know that some of you did not seem to enjoy that meet. Generally I would like to keep this location between exits 100 and 127. I'm going to try to think of some ideas and please anyone else that has a thought feel free to post it in. Keep in mind that it should be able to fit 15 cars comfortably as well as any normal traffic that would be there. Should be easy to find and access, and should have a good cruising location preferably

Well if it's now between the 11th and the 18th then I vote the 18th. Rich and I wouldn't be able to make the 11th. And I know you guys would miss us SOOOO much if we weren't there!!!
And don't forget...this month once we pick a date keep it!!! No more taking off of work and then having to change it!

Well all i'm saying is that if we can get more people out to the meet by goin on the 25th, and no one else has any specific conflict with that besides the fact that they don't feel they can wait that long, than why not put it off a little bit? We've got two cars, actually three if Kathy brings her own, in addition to the very regular crowd that can come if its the weekend of the 25th. I'm just saying that I think "I can't wait that long" is a really lame reason to have it sooner if we can get more cars and more people by having it later on. Just a thought i guess.

i vote on the 11 just cause i don't wanna wait that long for another meet.. but my vote doesn't count as much just cause i'm new... but i think that in the middle of the month is better just cause its not like we have to wait a long time to have fun again...how many ppl are up for getting rita's? cause there is a rita's on 516 in old bridge that has a huge parking lot. cause there park of a strip mall.. there is enuff room to park 100 cars.... but that is just my opinion.

good point. Route 9 is right there. So id be good cruisablitly.
ok. Looking over the previous posts, it looks like the 25th is the best date even though it seems oh so far away. I think I'll finalize it and say the 25th it is!

it looks like we already picked a meeting spot but i just wanted to bring up that there is a white castle me and pj went to in freehold on route 9 one time and the parking lot is HUGE.

I think the 25th should be good then because like Jay said if we want the best turn out that seems to be the day. I like that Rita's idea that heather came up with. Maybe once we get this set we should start a new post for June's meet displaying date, time, and address with directions so that nobody has to keep flipping through pages trying to figure it out.

BTW for anyone that is interested in getting audio equipment at a good value Auto Works (my local speed shop) is having a tent sale this weekend, May 21st. I don't know what they are putting out but they have a lot of awesome stuff in their store. So if you are going to be in the area stop by and check it out. I will be out of the state otherwise I would probably spend my whole day there.

cruising is a bad idea. its the end of the month and police WILL be looking to pull people over for stuff.
there are many ways to get to rita's there is rt 9 to 516, or rt 18 to 516.. there are soo many different ways. and lots of places to cruise.. i can't wait for the next meet.. maybe my car will finally have more done... so the 25th it is???

For once, ill agree with Jay , the more people , the more fun it will be , the wait will be long but WELL worth it .
