this weekend i am chillin out, car work is gonna def be at a min and i am def maxing out on ps2. i;ve been volunteering and moving furniture for people all week in addition to working daily.

what exactly does "need help with the rears" include? those are the easiest to do. lower bolts 18mm, 2-13 mm upperbolt, 4- 10mm bolts, and the strut top nut. whats goin on?

i cant figure out how this setup goes with the stock mounts...remember i dont have my stock springs in there...so i dont know how to do the transer...and also there is a noise coming from the front...i think its from the suspension and i cant figure out wtf it is...and i cant figure out how to get the Coilover sleeve off of my Koni...i just left the sleeve on there and put the sportlines on over it. But i think that is where the noise is coming from...

i think you have solved your problem...

as for the rear. its strut, lay the spring on the spring seat, add the mount. done.

for the front, simply slide the sleeve off.

so how do i get the strut assembly off? what bolts?

The sleeve wont slide off....

Me and Ecofire looked at it for like 10 minutes and couldnt find a way to get it off...maybe were dumb..ill jack it up this weekend and maybe try again...

u think im gonna need a compressor for the springs on the rear?

the weather this weekend isnt looking promising

OK, this is what i have left. please if you are gonna email me about something, use some simple thought before emailing.

whats being sold here, is basically whats listed. nothing more, nothing less. no extras, else i would def list em.

-also if you are decently far away and want it shipped obviously shipping costs money. logic would say since nothing says "XX$ shipped" that it doesnt NOT include shipping charges. hence that will be a bit extra for you depending on how you want it shipped.

-OBO means "Or best offer", which means make an offer...

-All numbers are in US currency, reason this is posted in the NORTH EAST USA forum. if you live elsewhere and need a conversion, simply ask, but when you live in the US, you pay by US terms. sad part is the guy who sent that email was actually serious. i dont care if you collect foreign money, i have enough myself as i was born and raised in europe.

-Q logic dual 12 bandpass box. 50 obo within reason
-q logic 15 inch box 30 obo
-Dual 8 inch box with tweeters, ported. 20 obo
-proform 14 inch cooling fan. lower profile than stock 30 obo (on hold for dribnus)
-3 speed auto torque converter for T converter upgrade. make an offer
-3 ported stock manifolds 5 each
-2200 180 degree thermostat and gasket acdelco 5$
-stock springs set of four. 10$
-lotek triple guage pod, 2 and 1/16 size guages. 35$
-10w-40 motor oil (grilfriend bought the wrong one) 5 quart econo-bottle valvoline. 5$

-Pro Kits Cavalier rear valence, made of fiberglass, just basically being wall decoration. 40$
-1 IDI cover (2.4L twin cam) with coil pack attached. painted red, but can be paint stripped if you let me know. possibly repainted unless you would prefer to do that 30$

thanx

oh hell man, my bad....

yes, all the 2200;s are the same, its an exhaust manifold and if i remember from a while back, you have a header right?

so far jeffie wants one, justin rockwell wanted one, and the last one i have is for a 96. i can get one for you however and port it out. or if you are ever local porting takes roughly an hour. just let me know what ya wanna do.

Jamie, yesidooooo. you prob wont get this till mornin, or tommorow, but i;ll get to it when by scruf gets over here and start with the sat car stuff.

Ported manifolds?

What engine do they fit?

And as dumb as this might sound, what kind of porting was done? (I'm not too familiar with the process)

I know it's JUST a Cavalier, and I'm sorry if I hurt your ego.

well they are for 2.2l ohv's they wont fit a z24, but quick run down, ported manifolds are a small fix for those who dont have or want headers, but want a slightly better flow from their exhaust manifolds.

on almost any 2.2, when you remove it, you will see where carbon from exhaust has blown out on the flange for the runners of the manifold.

the pulse for exhaust is supposed to occur on the head, not the manifold itself. headers accomplish this, cause the runners are pretty wide. but if you wanna keep the stock manifold you can gasket match port the manifold so that everything that comes out the exhaust goin IN the manifold and not against it.

the way gm cast the heads are similar to the manifolds. some flashing on it, but flashing usually impedes flow. just a small tune up.
