How often must radar equipment be tested and calibrated?

On my ticket it says Date Equipment tested 6/10/2008

I thought it had to be done on a regular basis

According to the state police website, every 60 days. June 10th was 48 days ago from today.

Usually it's supposed to be tested after every time a citation is issued. I don't think it's so much what state law says, and it's more or less what the owners manual says for the thing.

well from what I found, along with Susan is that state law says every 60 days. And after every citation the officer must test it with a tuning fork... IDK...

The only thing that really upsets me is the 4 points on my license.

I already called about a payment plan so I dont get socked the entire thing at once... I can pay it all at once but dont want too lol

You should have said - Ok, so when you tase me for asking questions you can get fired?

Officer - (Shoots Phil with the taser)

Phil - AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

This made me ROFL....
You said it happened 2 hours into your drive, but it'll take you 3 hours to get there this time? Either you were going super fast the first time, or you'd crawl on your hands & knees back. Or... you want one super crazy fast round trip!
*not trying to start trouble, just had to laugh*
