1998 Chevrolet Cavalier 2.2L (unofficial Z22) I pay about $1100.00/year from KEYES Auto Insurance just outside of the Bayers Lake Businesss park. That's with a single vehicle accident on my record with no claims. Although, I am running the bare bare minimum like half a mil PLPD...Practically like no coverage.

I didn't have the patience to read through the entire thread to see if someone corrected it, but I know for a FACT the color of your car has NOTHING to do with the price of insurance. It does, however, attract the cops.
I have a 97 2.2 L Sunfire (2 dr), and I'm paying $398/ 2 years for 1 way insurance but it includes fire, theft, and vandalism with a $150 deductible. I'm 20 yrs old, clean record -no traffic violations , and no at fault accidents (i was involved in a hit and run accident, and when I was sitting in traffic (literally not moving) on decarie an 18 wheeler hit me from behind, pushed my car 6 ft into another 18 wheeler and crushed my car) . My insurance company is Axa - by far the cheapest I have ever found, they have a department that is exclusively for drivers from 16-25 yrs of age.
