I know it had platinum plugs plugs in but did anyone ever try the iridium plugs? Just wondering if they are worth the money.

No clue for the 2.8 however I stick with the basic AC DELCO standard plug period.Have for 13 yrs and the best cost, performance is good, and I stay away from platinum, iridium cost, and gains for these old rides are not worth it.If u want some upgrades do your wires like accel 8mm better quality and upgrade the coilpacks if u want.Keep it simple and cost will follow. The perfo plugs run hotter and may not be worth the headache they can cause on a super old car.Just my take.Others may think other wise.

Yeah it had the platinum plugs in when I bought it. Seems like they work well. Added a k&n filter and gutted the cat. Want to upgrade to msd eventually but funds are tight
