Where are your pics hosted? I can't even see red Xs, which leads me to believe the net nanny here blocks them.

photobucket.com. Anyone else having trouble seeing them?

That is a wicked looking 3 tone!! Are you shooting enviro-friendly waterborne there yet , or are you still able to paint with oil based ?
Can't wait to see everything together!!
.
Still lacquor here, some in MD are waterbased. Its been a while since i painted anything with my dad since his passing but apparantly they have restrictions on some types of paint guns. My guy still uses the old school gun which technically isn't legal anymore to shoot the clear but he says its the only way to make it look right!

Also looking for the clips for the trim piece underneath the 2 back side windows. They were plasting with a screw in the center of them that the trim piece snapped over. I have a part number which i believe is correct, and i believe the local Napa can get. Anyone know if this is correct?
GM: 20175051, 15633873
Napa: 665-2055

I know the pieces you are describing but as for part numbers idk.Paint and decals looking good and my local yards have zero first gens but keep checking.I would have to double check my stuff but doubt my trim pieces would be if I have some which I think I do are as long bc mine were off a Z.Hatches had longer trim on those side windows.I assume that is what your chkg on right.
What was in the napa book. Look right?

Well, i found my old clips, some of them missing part of it. they look a little different than what i posted earlier. I screwed them on because the little metal pieces were missing, and my trim pieces didn't click at all..i noticed they were somewhat distorted. But i remember my dad had saved some pieces from another z, so i went and found them. Straight as an arrow, look almost new! they poped right on!!! Pretty strong too! I got a few more pics i'll post later on.

Now Ya Talkin!!
Love the result!! Now all you gotta do is turn the quarter as fast as it turns the heads....... could be a challenge for most .
But not for the Slick Vic! Giv 'em Hell my friend!!
Is there a special tool to remove that trim at the bottom of the rear window or are you just supposed to destroy those little plastic keepers when you remove the trim? Gotta pull the one on the drivers side of my Pontiac to clean out a rust gremlin.
.
Well from what it looks like you should slide it toward the back about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch. The clips look like they are put on the trim first, then its slide on to the little metal tips that stick off. Now to get off, i found if you push in a little the bottom part will move some w/o breaking and should allow the top to relase..but its still a pain. Haven't got the slide part to work but im also putting the clips on first with button heads self tappers since my little pegs are long gone. The button head is a little large for what its doing but it give the top part another edge to grab.

Now clips I might have like those but really cannot recall.I so like the wheels wayyy better than the originals.Car is looking tight my friend!
Think I'm getting then idea with the clips. Those were a Lot more flexible 25-30 years ago.....LoL Now they just want to crack n' break.
