Buy a new sunrood seal from gmpartsdirect the PART # is 20534581.This should be spot on and I know these are available. If not let me know I will retrace my steps.I think they list it as belt with strip.Idk I am pretty tired after rolling 525miles so bare with me.

To be honest, Ron, I want to weld it shut and just forget it was EVER there. I've never really been a fan of sunroofs that just pop open and don't fully open. I never use mine. I've got a few ideas on how I'm going to do it. I'll keep everyone posted with pics. lol

Somone on Jbody.org did it for me. Here it is:

Its more the if I had air bags and let it all the way down look as opposed to the slammed on coilovers look.

If your dead set on slamming. I would make an account on v6z24.com and PM 90zcar. His 90 z24 is on air ride. He all has a completed shaved interior and shaved outside. He would be the one to talk to about lowering since 1st and 2nd gens are virtually the same.

On the inside my car looks like a fighter jet.

Tonite, I found my exhaust leak, adjusted the idle and got the engine running smoother and gave her the first wash since I bought her. Good night.

Since it is so hard to find the weatherstriping that goes along the door and runs along the window when opening/closing I might have found a way to make my own. Will update with pics if it works out.
