this may seem odd but i found 3 bottles in the trunk of my car, midwest development LX-521 additive but cant find any info on this stuff ? did it come with the car ?

Never heard of it and I probably would not use it being it has been in there a long while.If you use anything I suggest seafoam over most products for fuel additives that work.Walmart sells it for 9.00 about the cheapest anywhere.If you could not find it listed in any google search it may just be a forgotten product of years ago.

Every fall after the oil companies get done squeezing us for the changeover from summer to winter blend, especially here in the northeast megalopolis, I like to take a container of Regain (from Pennzoil's Gummout division) and get a tank of 93 octane to clean out the system of the corny summer blend.

Yeah, there's still E10 all winter, but it's a different mix of slop.

Yeah, I'm thinking there probably was a lot more "gas" in the gas ...back in the day when our 1st Gens were king of the roads!!
