I kinda like the old school look of a turn-down tip and I can also pull and tuck the muffler body up a bit with a turn-down installed too.
The car is old, so I prefer the mods to look kind of old school/ hot rod-ish if I can help it.

Moved the muffler forward and installed a polished Gibson turn-down tailpipe !
It turned out better than I thought it would and the sound is now exactly the way I want it to be..!
I also added a rear hanger, so now I have a hanger fore and aft of the muffler. It's a much more solid install now.

Yeah, I hear ya, Orlen, LOL !
I thought it might be sticking out a *bit* too much initially, but after driving it for over a month, It really hasn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t gotten in the way yet - even when loading groceries and my VW engine into and out of the old girl... Besides that, I paid for a polished, stainless tip. Might as well show it off !
Think I\\\'ll just keep her this way.....for now !

I\'ve actually caught myself scraping my \"side puffer\" from time to time - but you probably have seen how I stuff my ole long top full from time to time!
