The old blue j looks great with that perrrfect paint! It looks like a new car.
That is a superb looking cavalier period!! I was suppose to tackle some to do's on my two old rides this year,but yet to touch.The short answer is the last 5 years I have spent countless hours fixing and working on my nephews 1998 accord and only 2yrs on a 2002 civic.BURNED OUT and decided to take some time off from fixing cars and do a normal daily thing.I am going to focus my attention to my rides in the winter when mow season is off and revamp my desire to make my old rides nice.In the end my cavalier will have shiny new yellow gold paint and my alloys refurbished and may do new carpet and get my seats reupholstered.Thanks for the update and the car looks stellar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just wanted to pass on part information to you. Restoration Specialties in PA has the inside beltline window rubber and stainless for the door panels. Part # YMR255x. Never thought I would have found it.
Still looking for the
14067074 EXTENSION,FRT BPR IMP BAR which is the vinyl black piece that fits on the bottom of the front spoiler panel. Any help would be appreciated.

That is like the Holy Grail here...
This is the same material I used to redo my belts except the YMR255x has the stainless bead at the top. The YMR260X has a small rubber lip at the top which I used and does not add additional stainless bead at top to retain original appearance. It requires removal of all the old material on the inside edge of your belt and cutting the new piece to clear the rub blocks on the convertible door and bonding and riveting the new piece to duplicate the belt weatherstrip. You have to also cut and rivet new blocks on the belt as well that originally come on it. That material is available as well. The outside is still your belt molding. I have a set to reman for the 86 I am working on now. I did buy the YMR255X to replace the inner on my door panels as it is an exact match for it.
