An 86 RS Convertible.
Says it is a manual, but it is an automatic, according to the picture of the interior.

Here is a nice looking 94 Z24 5spd. Needs a clutch.
I'm going to ride over there tomorrow to take a look at it.

Went to see it.

Car looks nice, no rust, fresh paint, clean underneath, not leaking, new front/fair rear tires. Shifter is smooth, everything is there. Has an alarm system.

A few little things here and there. Drivers seat has a hole. Paint job is cheap with the normal things you'd expect. Nothing too bad really, until I start the engine.
So, along with the clutch problem, the engine is not sounding well either.

Real short 17 seconds of the engine running.
What do you think?

Yeah Definitely doesn't sound good. Hell if you don't mind getting a new engine for it offer him half of what he's asking for it. That body looks nice and clean.

I just got home with it.

Paid $1,300.00 for it.
U-Haul trailer was about $90.00.
Gas was $40.00.

Hoping the noise is just an exhaust leak. I think that may be it, but not 100% sure yet. Sounded like it might be coming from the donut at the flange/down pipe. Or maybe the manifold on the back side of the engine. I'll track it down next weekend.

Will get some video of it next weekend too. It has been raining and cold all day today and I don't feel like messing with it now. My garage is not heated.

You need to make one of those waste oil stoves that are on YouTube, by the looks of them they work great and easy and cheap to build.

Good use of your oil change oil

I'll have to look into it.
Heck, I just pour it down the drain, like everyone else

Just kidding. I drop it off at Advance or somewhere that recycles it. But having an oil stove might not be a bad idea. Rarely would need it here, but once in a while it would come in handy.

Don't laugh, I really did back in the late 70's early 80's. I'm sure it's at the bottom of Lake Ontario.

Well, I couldn't help but to laugh.
I guess a lot of us use to dispose of old oil in ways we shouldn't have.

This is a new listing in Florida.
Looks fantastic with quite low miles. Not a bad asking price and they are taking offers.

Yeah, I guess it sold already. Great deal to whoever got it.

When I posted yesterday, the listing had been up for 21 hours.
It was a blue one with white top, digital dash, 63,xxx miles, two owners (both elderly ladies). The ad had a number of good hi res pictures and everything looked perfect. $3,000 (I believe) was the asking price. Always garaged and all original (though top looked new, but I don't think it said it had been changed). I could not detect any anything in the pictures that looked sun damaged/faded or anything. It is a beautiful example for sure.
It was one of the nicest ones I've seen listed. Wish I'd saved the pictures of it.Every bit as nice (maybe even nicer inside) as the white one on the first page of this thread.
