a/c removal

I want to remove all my a/c junk "it doent work". Can I get a serpentine belt that is shorter for a 2.8 w/o a/c? I have a '87 Z-24 and would like to clean up the engine bay and lose some dead weight. I replaced the front engine mount last night and already cut a bunch of stuff out. By the way the replacement of the mount really sucked, but its done and drives a lot better. Anyones help would be great.

Thanks

GM has an A/C delete pulley that screws into a threaded hole in the timing cover. Only costs about $15.

You can lose the whole system. No sense in keeping the compressor or condensor mounted. If you're anal, or absolutely need under-dash space, you can remove the evaporator, but it's all aluminum, weighs less than a pound and, IMO, is too much of a hassle.
