cruise control

A few days ago I was messing around in the junk yard and noticed a cavalier one year newer than mine withe cruise control. I'm just curious as to how hard it would be to add factory cruise into my car if i coulod get all the parts from the wrecking yard. Is the wiring already in the harness or would it have to be added? Is the computer and everything else ready to go?

If I have to butcher the wiring i'm not going to bother. I already did that a few years ago when I put in keyless entry/remote start. If it's not too bad I'll take it on as a summer project.

Funny. This was posted two years ago, and I was just wondering the same thing yesterday as the weather finally got nice and I started to make my junkyard list for the summer...

does anyone know?

I'm thinking since it's all old school vacuum stuff, it would just be the bracket and cables, then the wiring to the turn signal lever, and a new superstalk.

Am I wrong?
