Mainly bc it is a stock car and to retain it's original appearance mostly.I would think sinking money into lowering it while neat takes away from the nostaglia of the older js.I know my stock cav handles pretty good with the rear being all new the front is next.My car has some body roll but, needs new struts and just prefer stock being our cars are like over 20 yrs old and going.U can buy stock struts and shocks Monroe at advance auto parts which vary on handling and retain the stock look but, handling will be much better than oem and lowering it causes strains on the body and steering and parts are not so easy to come by on these rides.Just my view being they run 13 or 14 inch tires to start with pretty low profile to start with.Just my take.
