OEM Radio Repair

Hey First Geners-
My tuner started going south on my Sunbird radio (delco touch tone from a 6000 STE). I went to a swap meet and founds a suitable hulk for $20. I paid a repuatble shop in VA to completely overhaul it. It is awesome. Everything works as advertised with a 1 year warranty. He took my old touch tone in trade, so I just paid $20 plus shipping for the repair. So $45 plus dead radio=brand new 20 year old radio.

He did great work, here is his info:

It is the little things like radios that work that make life worth living. My car rocks again.

Long live the J Body!

So now you can pay $40 and get a line in for an MP3 player?

How Ya like me now? Keeping it stock looking and keeping up with the times...

Sweet! Thanks for the link... Are you planning on having this done? If so, let me know how it goes... I'll probably be contacting him... It just so happens I have $40 burning a hole in my paypal account's pocket...

I was going to, but I have to take care of my brakes first:
rear wheel cylinders
ss brake lines
master cylinder and God knows what else once I start tearing into it...
