i found a rear swaybar for my skyhawk at the local boneyard but i had to cut the straps that hold it to the axle, all the rubber bushings are in great shape i just need the two straps that go around the axle. can i buy these somewhere or make my own somehow? any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

You cannot buy them anymore. Best sway bar you can get is a z24 sway bar. They are 19mm and the fronts are 30mm. Look for a 88-94 z24 and get the straps as they are probably not rusted.

On the inside my car looks like a fighter jet.

You need those metal brackets (2) that wrap around the axle like in my pic yes.I have those and can be found on any 86-94 Z model or even some sunbirds and more.If you would like those I may consider selling those two brackets plus fedex ground ship cost, and yeah I do paypal .
