I have a '88 5sp tranny and a decent flywheel and clutch I'm selling...All out of the car and ready to go.. If interested in doing a 2.0NA auto to manual swap...I have all the parts to do it.. Including Shifter, cables, tranny, clutch assembly and flywheel. etc etc...

If interested hit me up.

Not sure if the tranny will bolt up...If I recall right it should...I would suggest doing some research to double check the bolt pattern between the 2.0NA and the 3.1

Is the 2.0 an OHC or OHV motor? Also where are you located?

Nope....I had..the 2.0 turbo..and pulled this tranny off an '88 2.0NA. Its exactly the same bolt pattern....swaping the flex plate for the flywheel is just has easy as removing some bolts and putting the flywheel on..the cluch pressure plate and all is a direct on bolt on..

I"m in northeast central Indiana... I'm asking about 500 for the whole swap.. I paid 500 itself for the tranny...and the clutch is new... But this will include everything you need for the swap.

The tranny itself was out of an '88 cavi 2.0na, and bolted right up to my old turbo 2.0

still have the parts, still need to get rid of em

Wow what a mess, lol let me clear some of this up for you guys.
So the trans is out of a cavy.... meaning it came off a OHV motor cause there was never a OHC motor produced in a cavy, so the trans will bolt up to 2.0 OHV, 2.2 OHV and anything in the 3.1 family. (2.8, 3100 etc..) It will NOT bolt up to a 2.0 OHC motor. And someone asked about the na and turbo trans being diffrent.....the 2.0 OHC NA trans has the same bolt pattern as a 2.0 OHC turbo motor but the NA has an izuzu 5 speed trans and the turbo has a much stronger getrag 5 speed trans. The turbo automatic is the same as the NA auto.

Good one Tyrin. I was just about to do the same thing myself.

And for you 6cyl guys- this is not the trans you want to put behind your V6. You want to find a Getrag/Muncie since its much stronger.
