Turning my car into a show car....
Monday, April 18, 2005 6:55 PM
I wanted to drop a line and let you people know a little about whats going on. I currently own a 94 Cavalier Z-24 with the FX front and rear bumper with Diza side skirts and 17" chrome. I decided to turn this car into a full fledge show car.... I realized there are tons of 3rd gens and we need a couple people to step the game up with our 2nd gens.... I'm getting ready to have a kid so I bought another Z-24 !!!!!GET THIS!!!! has 260,000+ miles on it. But it runs good no nocks or anything.... has new 7mm wires and spark plugs along with new front right axel decent rims 200 cd player and some set of speakers along with a BRAND NEW paint job for 900 bucks.... no joke... I know the guy and have been keeping tracks of the car so I know that the car should do me for a couple thousand miles.... I HOPE KNOCK ON WOOD I get 100,000 miles out of it... but as soon as I get it I'm going to do an oil, transmittion fluid change and taker easy lol.. you cant be a deal like that now...

Yeah, my car is somewhere up near or surpassed 300,000 miles (the odometer was broken when I got it), and it still runs ok. I can't wait to see a 2nd gen on the showcar scene. If you think about it, these early Js are exactly what the sport compact scene was *originally* about: taking some inexpensive, every day nothing cars and making them surprisingly bad ass. Make sure to keep us updated with what's goin on.

yeah I will... but I havent taken pics over the years of the car.... so I will just be starting to take pics now as i go along....
I will take me years to get to where I want to be... I plan to do major motor mods and decent exterior mods and f/g interior mods..... I think it wont be a first place tropy at the SEMA show but it will be a car that people like to see at your local car shows

People cant see the ending time when our cars become show stopping draw dropping audio pounding 1/4 mile runnin machines. Yeah I hate playa hater that gotta dis what we do. I drove my cav for hte last time today before I park it and as soon as I get to school I'm seeing people laugh. Only because I have black and gray primer for my kit and underconstruction hood with my steelies still on it cause I dont want to put my baby fresh rims on yet. on top of that I had a kid want to race me in a GT Probe for 300$. When I'm done with my car these cats will be begging me for a ride. WHOSE COMIN WITH ME!

I've already got races lined up. no less than 5 bills. and none of them will stand a chance. there own fault for assuming that pontiac whatever or such can't even get off the line. haha, what little they know... what little they know. I should be finished with engine work and primered up by saturday. when this thing rolls out for the first time there will be stares, offers to buy and those wondering what dealership I rolled it out of and where they can get theirs. No such luck for them. I've already had a guy who's been by the shop... so he kinda has an idea of what's going to be in it... offered me 7,000 for it when it was done. No such luck for them. I think I'll roll on down the my buddies tint shop after I finish the paint, he'll run me a deal cause I think I'll need it.

Im aiming to take down the competition around here in a few years. ive been working on a design for a wide body.. so far so good, very well ressembles the curves of a f50

too much stuff to list going on. widebody(mild) headlights , tail lights, nothing will be left stock in the interior, suspension, and some big rollers. engine will be only slightly modded for the first while.

if i can manage to beat my best freinds 3rd gen chop top in 1 show i will be happy!!!
