what exactly are you looking for??? the 8th digit of the VIN number is the engine code. find out what that is and i think there is something on this site on decoding the vin number.
I am trying to figure out what year of car the motor came out of. The number on the motor block is t1014afl (the engine code). It is not working with my computer so I need to know what year computer I need. I was not told by the junk yard what year it was and since been crushed. Just said it would work, but it doesn't.
