turbo specs?

Anyone know the specs for the factory turbo on the sunbirds?
I found a cheap t2 that is perfect for what I want but I just wanted to compare to what I have now, I know its bigger but I just want to know how much bigger.

Also, I'm making a new exhaust manifold for it cause I hear the factory one is pretty restrictive and mine is cracked, and I hear thats a common thing as well so I've decided to make one from scratch and I was just wondering what would be a good size of pipe to use for it, I want to keep it small enough to keep up the velocity, and I've though of a good design thats a lot less restrictive than stock. I was thinking of going with 1" inside diameter turbing but That might be too big, and what thickness of piping should I use so it can withstand the heat? and I'm guessing steel tubing would be best, right? I'm no enginer so I dont know these things, lol
and help comments apreciated, thanks

No idea on the actual specs but I thought the T2 is smaller than the T25.. I have a T2 on the bird now that I got dirt cheap but the original T25 is definitely a bigger housing at least. The T2 came on the 1.8 turbo birds IIRC.

t2 and t25 is just the style of turbo, its not the size. case and point: the 2.0l sunbird uses a t25 turbo, and so does the 89/90 turbo grand prix 3.1l, however, the tgp turbo is larger.
