Finally gave the car one color. Plus some other things, custom head lights, custom grill, etc. Check it out and tell me what you think.

That's going to be the hottest Cavy I've ever seen when you're done with it. Keep us updated, and great work man! I wish I could weld.

Thats starting to really take off ... good work...

Now you and i are in the "i didnt use a fibreglass widebody kit to make a widebody j body" club... me with the foam and you with the steel =P...

Just wait till we both get finished and compete in car shows... hehe little friendly compitition =P... good times...

i'll be happy as long as one of us custom body modders beat the Civ-Alier (89 cavy, Civic tails, civic head lights, civic hood, civic dash, civic widebody (simply molded on.. nothing custom to it), shaved rear side windows, air struts, lambo doors)

That thing is nice, but I still think you should definitely lose the "gills" on the front bumper and just get a Diza front bumper made for our cars, it's the same thing and fits. It looks out of place like that but everything else looks good. I'd take a set of those headlights

hoooooold up...

where did you get this from and how much

The white face AC Guage... look at my dash ... i could so use one of em

Everything else is white...

I think he's widening the front too... In that case it wouldn't fit anymore.

I like the gills though too.

Xstreme, those AC panels are easily found on Ebay. When I search for @!#$ for my cavy I type "94 Cavalier" and I get those all the time. They seem to run from about $11 to $18.

Wow. The guy puts hours and hours and hours into his car, and it really upsets me that some people don't even have respect for that, Who cares if you don't like it? Who cares if its a little "rough"? ITS NOT DONE YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Grow up and give him some respect!

Its not my thing either, but I have tons of respect for someone who is willing to do that much work to a car, regardless of what it is. If you want to keep seeing cookie-cutter imports, keep putting people down that do all custom work.

whoa.... I don't think anyone is bashing him or anything like that. I do have respect for him. don't know if you were singling me out or anything if not thats cool but at least in my opinion. but he did say "tell me what you think"

Wow thats niiiiice. That is by far the best looking 2nd gen Cav I have ever seen, even if it is still a work on progress. Now I have yet another inspiration to get going on my widebody. But it will have to wait until I get air and new rims. Then the widebody begins. How wide did you go on the rear? Im thinking about 3-4" per side for my cav and then 2-3" per side up front. I want to be one of the first if not only ppl to fit 18x10" wide wheels in the back.
Thx,
Michael

HAHA....your kidding me, anyone who thinks that is nice has a problem, the widebody makes the thing look like a lego car for god sakes. I cant believe you would do that to a cavalier. focus on making your car quick before going overkill on your body. Someone needed to bash this car badly , I elected myself to speak for anyone with good taste.

i agree with him when he says that he doesnt like the way it looks, but it's your car and if you likes it then thats awsome i guess, i hate it when people tell you what you "should" do to your own car but i could even think of some ideas for ya, such as taking off the huge airplane wing and returning the car completley stock, and selling your rims to me in the process. lol

congrats on all of the work you have done dude, even tho i dont like it, its cool that u are doing alot of stuff to your car

i dint mean completley to stock, i like some of the interior stuff u did, looks good in there. if you did widen the front, would u install kickout wheels? that would make me like it a little bit more. but its not my style, if its yours then dont listen to people when they say crap about it cause if u like it thats all that matters

I like it, I think the gills on the front look pretty good too, I cant wait until you get the front done, I love those headlights and I think it will look much better once the front is widened as well. I also heard you were atempting a v8 rwd conversion as well after the widebady is done, good luck with it.

You need to grow up and learn respect. I'm done in this thread.
