Well, the car has a 13.4 gallon fuel tank...takes me 1/4 of a tank to get from home to classes and back, a distance of 41 miles...

don't trust the dashboard. ESP. if its had any fuel pump work done.

I have a full tank until it hits 3/4, shortly after the car runs out of gas. but it does really well for the first 300 miles or so...

I've got a 93 and the worst mileage i've clocked is 18mpg...but that was after a weekend in town cruising around and racing people all night. I think I get like 32mpg or more cruising down the freeway or highway. I can go 2 weeks without getting gas easy if I don't go downtown on the weekends.

yeah, figuring mileage with the gas gauge is schetchy at best, just keep track of your mileage and save your gas receipts and figure it after a couple fillups

the only way you can do it accurately is fill it until the pump shuts off. Record mileage, Drive, fill again until pump stops. Record how many miles you went and how many gallons it took to fill up
divide miles by gallons.

Oh, good, so its not just me...mine usually hangs around 1/2 tank until it gets to 1/4, then it gets accurate...i think its a faulty sensor...
